Hello world!

We’re an online organization cataloging, recognizing and spreading awareness of gluten-free friendly restaurants, bars, bakeries and grocery stores in the San Francisco Bay Area. We’re working with restaurants’ kitchen staff on providing GF menu options, educating them about cross-contamination and working with bar managers to carry gluten-free beer. Our target audience is young professionals and college students. We strive to alleviate some of the stress and anxiety of eating outside the home for our demographic, a group that seems to be constantly eating outside the home!

To facilitate the spread of gluten-free awareness, we plan to hold quarterly events focused around different gluten-free establishments. We look forward to seeing you at our first event on June 17!

After we get our feet wet in SF we’ll be expanding to other cities across the nation.  If you have any gluten-free friendly establishments that should be included on GFG.com, please don’t hesitate to email us: contact@glutenfreegluttons.com.

Great idea for a website! I hope to see one for the east coast area. I work with kids with autism and many have certain dietary restrictions. Maybe you can include the Oakland area too (P.F. Changs)? Also, recipes would be a nice addition!

Also, can you please add Mariposa Bakery Cafe in Oakland to your web site. The serve 100% GF baked goods and they just added salads, sandwiches and raviolis to their lunch menu. They also have a GF kiosk in the SF Ferry Building!!
